I Want To Donate Blood at the UCLA Blood and Platelet Center

In the amount of time it takes you to read this sentence, someone will need blood.

In the amount of time it takes you to read this sentence, someone will need blood. That's right, every three seconds someone needs blood. Your willingness to donate ensures that when blood is needed, blood is there.

The Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, made up of both the Westwood and Santa Monica facilities, uses over 100,000 units of blood yearly.

Your donation allows us to keep our blood supply healthy. You may not think that doing something as simple and safe as donating blood makes you a hero, but we do; and so do the patients whose lives depend on blood donors like you.
